The specimen helps us to get an initial idea of your typeface and to understand your intentions regarding the use and its characteristics. On this basis, we design our own specimen adapted to the layout of the book.

Presentation wishes
Are there any special wishes which details of the typeface should be shown in the overview? Please note, that we cannot show every area of application in our design.

With the following questions we try to include your preferences in the design:

If your typeface was a plant, which one, or what kind of plant would it be? (Tree, houseplant, cactus, succulent, carnivorous plant, vegetable plant, moss … ) Feel free to give us a little insight of what you might like or absolutely dislike for us to possibly take it into account for the design.

For each submitted typeface, you will receive a 100% discount code before the release of the Yearbook of Type 7. With this, you can order one free book from the Slanted Online Shop per font. Books will no longer be automatically sent at its release. Shipping costs apply.

Grant of Rights

By submitting, you grant Slanted Publishers the non-exclusive right to use the text(s), image(s), and typeface(s) provided for publication “Yearbook of Type #7”, and as part of the promotion for the publication (e.g. adverts, websites, books, posters, postcards, mobile phone apps, etc.) as well as for promotional purposes of the following edition of the publication (e.g. for advertising visuals), for any reproduction, distribution, and making available to the public for the duration of the legal copyright and without territorial limitation.

By submitting, you certify that:

(1) the text and information submitted is accurate
(2) you are either the sole owner of all rights in the work or have been authorized by the owner(s) of such rights to grant the rights granted herein, and
(3) publication of the work will not infringe the rights of any third party.
(4) you will not receive any direct financial compensation for granting the rights herein.
(5) you know that there is a participation fee to take part.
